IEDSOM is fighting to reach inclusive for live, which may give the disabled people equal opportunities and rights to the non-disabled people. (Disability is not inability ) so let us get universal right from homes to public. We disabled will remain relentless for this campaign until we achieve inclusive for life.

IEDSOM Institute Education Disabled Somalia Is a non profit Somali disabled welfare and advocacy organization based in Somalia. The organization is based in Mogadishu the capital city of Somalia. IEDSOM disabled people own and led organization which most of it is staffs are disabled people particularly youth disabled. The organization possess advanced organizational structure and qualified staff that gives the organization the ability to implement useful projects in Somalia for the protection of disabled people’s rights and promotion of lifestyle and resource.

IEDSOM is one of the rare disabled won organization working in Somalia where there countless disabled people in dire need of rehabilitation, feeding, advocacy, education, employment and grating investment. The organization implemented variety project with support of the Somali community and some UN agencies.

IEDSOM institute education disabled Somalia is one of the rare disabled people led and own organization working the welfare and the advocacy of the disabled people is urging to the UN Agencies, international NGOs to take care the right of the disabled people in Somalia. The donor countries and humanitarian agencies who are working in Somalia to give the disabled people right support equally non-disabled people. We here confirm that project and programs are planed and tailored to benefit only non-disabled society. There thousands Somali disabled people in the IDPs whose right are denied by some of the Donor agencies who b rough there food and implemented infrastructures like make shift home, tents and toilets which disabled people could not be accessible.

The needs of the disabled people could be felt only by disabled lives specialists or disabled own NGOs like IEDSOM so we kindly recommend the UN and donor groups to take consideration this matter from now on. Every one knows what is good for hi/her. Non disabled people’s NGO could not feel the naturally the needs of the disabled people to my knowledge. But disabled person can feel my needs easily.
